Curvy Kate 'Sheer Class' Bikini Review
Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE a Curvy Kate bra- the fit is spectacular on me, they’re super comfy and their Scantilly Clad range is lovely. So when I tried on my old Curvy Kate bikini top to find that it (really, really) didn’t fit me anymore, I was a bit miffed.
One quick browse on BraStop (full of discounted bras, bikinis and nightwear for the busty ones among us...thank me later if you didn’t already know about it) and I chose a mix n match set. Blue bottoms in a size 18 (I’m usually a 20, but with stretch and added water I didn’t want a bum crack situation) and a red bra style top in a 40GG.
I couldn’t wait to try it on when it arrived, and it did not disappoint! The clasp at the back is big and sturdy, the band doesn’t dig in uncomfortably, and it has that Curvy Kate underwire engineering that I’ve come to know and love. It actually fits so well that I smacked myself in the face trying to move the cups – so you know it’ll stay put!
I chose high-waist bottoms which have a subtle sheer detail in the front and a cut out detail in the back which sits on my lower back (not near my butt) and they hug my curves in all the right places. No digging in on the hips, and they feel so comfortable on!
I’m hoping I’ll get to wear this beauty to the beach before summer is over, but I might have more luck if I fancied a ‘dip’ in the rain! All in all I would 100% recommend this set. It’s been added to my collection and I can’t wait to wear it!
*I have popped a filter on some of these pics just to brighten them. My skin flaws are unedited and I am not wearing makeup*
